Aditya Shroff

Aditya, a founding partner of the firms, is a veteran lawyer with over 27 years of experience in several countries. He graduated with a B.A. LL.B (Hons) from the National Law School of India University, India in 1995 and has also completed courses on international financial law, leadership perspectives and leadership mentoring by Euromoney, ICICI Learning Centre and Wharton Business School.

Ansh Legal was founded after Aditya had spent several years in-house as a senior lawyer and a general manager at ICICI Bank and in private practice at leading law firms such as Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners and then at the Singapore and Dubai offices of Linklaters. He was part of the senior management team at ICICI Bank serving on several of its internal and external committees and then a part of the India practice management team at Linklaters. He was also a member of the India committee of Asia Pacific Loan Market Association and the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.

He is an independent director of Arrow Capital (DIFC) Limited, a financial services company regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. He is a founder member of a sports-tech start up conglomerate – Olympia World, Mango Sports and Setteo in the UK where he serves as a member of the board. The aim of Olympia is to unify the seriously fragmented world of sports and provide a platform to all who want to be physically active and fit. He leads the Firms’ Finance and M&A practices.

Aditya has been ranked by leading directories for several years with Chambers Global reporting him as being “well regarded” by his clients who describe him as “excellent to work with”.
