Shifa Haneefa is a Associate at Ansh Legal, where she supports clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and employment law matters across the UAE. She assists the firm’s lawyers in advising businesses on corporate structuring, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and day-to-day legal and operational matters. Her work includes legal research, contract drafting and review, regulatory filings, due diligence exercises, corporate secretarial support, and employment-related advisory work.

Prior to joining Ansh Legal, Shifa gained valuable in-house legal and compliance experience working with businesses operating across mainland UAE, ADGM, DIFC, and various free zones. Her experience has provided her with a strong understanding of the UAE regulatory environment and the practical legal challenges faced by businesses operating in the region. Shifa has worked on a variety of matters involving commercial agreements, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, employment law, KYC and due diligence reviews, and stakeholder engagement with government authorities and regulatory bodies. She has also supported clients in relation to corporate transactions, restructuring exercises, and compliance projects across multiple sectors.

Shifa holds an integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of Calicut and is a licensed advocate with the Bar Council of India. She is fluent in English and Malayalam, with working proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, and Tamil, enabling her to effectively support a diverse international client base.
