Nicole Shroff

Nicole is the managing partner of the firms, both in the UK and the UAE.

She is a veteran lawyer with over 25 years of experience in several jurisdictions. After graduating with a B.A. LL.B(Hons) from the National Law School of India University, India in 1996 she has held senior and managerial positions in various organisations during her career.

She was the Group General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Dunia Finance (now known as Deem Finance) and Dunia Services in the UAE until 2019 when she co-founded Ansh Legal. She was also heading the Compliance, Facilities Management, Government Liaison and Administration functions as part of her portfolio and managed the transition of the key management team at Dunia. Prior to that she was the resident partner of Wadia Ghandy Singapore.

She is currently an independent director of APM Capital Limited, a financial services firm in ADGM. She is also actively involved in the development of Venture Age, a venture builder platform set up to help and incubate sports-tech ventures in the UK, apart from managing Ansh Legal and leads the Firms’ Corporate, Regulatory and General practices.

Nicole is well regarded by her clients with several considering her their go-to advisor on personal and business matters.
